Nervous System Sanctuary

  • 1220 NW Kings Blvd Corvallis, OR 97330 United States (map)

Nervous System Sanctuary is a restorative group experience for anyone feeling anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, or carrying too much.

This is a space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect — both with yourself and with others. Healing happens more easily when we don’t feel alone, and this class is designed to offer gentle nervous system support in a calm, welcoming community environment.

Each session weaves together simple, accessible practices that may include:

  • breath awareness

  • gentle movement

  • tremor or tension-release practices

  • sound and vibration

  • stillness

  • deep rest

  • quiet community presence

Nothing is forced, and everything is optional. Participants are invited to approach the experience with curiosity, playfulness, and a spirit of exploration — listening to the body rather than trying to control it.

You are invited to give yourself permission to simply be here — to rest, to soften, and to allow your body and nervous system to do what they naturally know how to do, without performing, fixing, or forcing anything.

You don’t need any experience. You don’t need to “do it right.” You don’t even need to talk.

You can simply arrive, lie down, and let your nervous system settle.

In a world that often feels fast, isolating, and overwhelming, Nervous System Sanctuary offers a place to pause — together.

What to bring: Yoga mats are provided. You may wish to bring a pillow, blanket, or support for under your knees to help you feel comfortable during the resting portion of class. You’re also welcome to bring water.
